PURPOSE: A cab tilt stay assembly for a vehicle is provided to minimize friction resistance by increasing a gap between an upper stay and a lower stay when the cab tilt is up. CONSTITUTION: A cab tilt stay assembly(1) for a vehicle comprises an upper stay(10), a lower stay(20), a rotating shaft(30), and a gap control part. One end of the lower stay is hinge-coupled to a lower bracket installing in a vehicle body. Width of the other end of the lower stay is gradually widened toward the end. The other end of the lower stay is contacted with one end of the upper stay and forms a shaft supporting part along longitudinal direction. The rotating shaft is connected to the other ends of the upper stay and the lower stay to move along the supporting part, thereby the upper stay and the lower stay can be rotate relatively. When a cab tilt is up, the gap control part moves to the back with the rotating shaft along the shaft supporting part in order to increase a gap between the other ends of the upper stay and the lower stay.
