PURPOSE: A fire escaping apparatus for multistory buildings is provided to allow people to escape through the verandas and to prevent the external escape of the multistory buildings. CONSTITUTION: A fire escaping apparatus for multistory buildings includes a bottom side(1), a manhole(2), a sealing hatch(3), a stretchable ladder(4), a supporting plate(5), and a supporting stand(6). The manhole is formed at the bottom side of a veranda. People pass through the manhole in case of escape. The sealing hatch is openably installed to the manhole. The stretchable ladder is based on a plurality of ladder members in the manhole. The supporting plate is mounted at the lower side of the manhole and supports the stretched ladder in case of emergency. The supporting stand is supported to the supporting plate with respect to walls.
