PURPOSE: A system and method for transmitting message in an information collecting environment are provided to support various data transmission formats between an information collecting terminal and a platform server by defining a message format and the structure of a data frame transmitted between the information collecting terminal and the platform server. CONSTITUTION: An information collecting terminal(100) transmits sense data collected in an M to M(Machine to Machine) environment. A platform server(200) offers sense data received from the information collecting terminal to one or more collection servers(300). The collection server receives the sense data through the platform server. An OTA(Over The Air) server(400) upgrades firmware built in the information collecting terminal through interlocked with the platform server.
