PURPOSE: A maximum power control system for charging an electric vehicle is provided to reset a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal of a control monitoring line by transmitting the maximum power value to a pilot function controller through a detection unit. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit(300) is arranged between a first breaker and a second breaker. The detection unit periodically measures and stores the maximum power consumed in an indoor electric device and detects the largest value among the stored maximum power values. A charging unit(100) receives the detected maximum power value by a preset communication method and resets the power value for charging the vehicle.
