PURPOSE: An information transmission apparatus and method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling a user to use the Internet in a television through a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal senses a television button input signal when a user searches web by using the portable terminal(405, 410). The portable terminal stores current URL(Uniform Resource Locator)(415). The portable terminal transmits a turn on signal for a television to the television when the television is turned on(425, 430). The portable terminal transmits a web browser driving signal to the television(435). The portable terminal operates the web browser when the portable terminal receives the URL from the television(445, 450). |
