<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultrasonic joining controller which can determine the quality of exact joining, and can prevent the effluence of a defective product, even if the weight of the joined member is heavy with respect to joining strength, and even if the joining is the ultrasonic joining in which the detection of vibration amplitude accompanying the completion of joining becomes difficult because the mechanical vibration amplitude of the joined member becomes small. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic joining controller (300A) controls an ultrasonic joining apparatus (100A) which joins a joining member (121) and a joined member (120) using an ultrasonic vibrator (132) driven from a vibrator drive voltage source, wherein a first vibration sensor (116) firmly contacted to the joined member is not one which detects the mechanical vibration of the joined member or the joining member, but it detects the friction vibration caused by sliding friction generated by joining member and the joined member being depressed/vibrated, detects the generation of friction vibration accompanying the start of vibration and the disappearance of the friction vibration accompanying the completion of joining, and determines the joining state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
