<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of chips and cracks by protecting both ends in an axial direction of a rotor body in a compressor equipped with a screw rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The screw rotor 1 is used for a water lubricated type compressor 2 and includes the rotor body 7 made of resin. The screw rotor 1 has end protecting members 10 on both the ends in the axial direction of the rotor body 7, which protects ends of the rotor body 7, integrated with the rotor body 7. For the end protecting members 10, plate members having the same cross-sectional shape as the ends of the rotor body 7, or members having the same cross-sectional shape as a weak part 11 where chips tend to occur in the ends of the rotor body 7 can be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
