Disclosed are a method and a device for measuring system performance in real time. The method comprises: receiving, by a foreground, a real-time measurement task comprising measurement period parameters created by a daemon according to focused service data, wherein the amount of the service data is lower than a predetermined value; extracting, by the foreground, according to the measurement period parameters, current data corresponding to the real-time measurement task from a performance measurement buffer; obtaining, by the foreground, according to the current data, real-time measurement data corresponding to the real-time measurement task; and reporting, by the foreground, the real-time measurement data to the daemon. Therefore, the service data focused by the daemon is delivered to the foreground through the real-time measurement task, and the foreground only reports a small amount of the service data, thereby reducing the communication traffic of the foreground and the daemon, alleviating the processing load of the daemon, and improving the flexibility of reporting the measurement data. |
