The arrangement has vehicle seat including a seat part (44) that is arranged on a supporting component (30). The supporting component includes an end section facing toward a front side of a front edge of the seat part, and another end section facing away from the front edge of the seat part. The latter end section lies opposite to the former end section, and front and rear fastening units (35, 46) detachably fasten the vehicle seat to the body of a motor car. The supporting component extends below the seat part over the length of the seat part. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle body comprising a counter fastening unit.
