PURPOSE: A dual band RFID tag is provided to enable an RFID reader to calculate location information by generating an IR-UWB signal corresponding to a response signal according to a standard protocol. CONSTITUTION: A UHF transceiver(120) communicates with an RFID reader according to a standard protocol of a UHF(Ultra High Frequency) band. If a UWB(Ultra Wideband) enable signal is inputted, a UWB transceiver(140) transmits an IR-UWB(Impulse Radio-Ultra Wideband) transmission signal to the RFID reader. The IR-UWB transmission signal is matched with a response signal generated according to an RF signal. If a UWB mode is selected, a controlling unit(150) generates the UWB enable signal.
