<p>An endoscope system is provided with an imaging unit for imaging disposed in an endoscope, a determination unit determines whether or not a specific observation target is present in the imaging region of the imaging unit, a recognition unit which determines, from the imaged image in the aforementioned imaging region imaged by the imaging unit, whether or not the specific observation target is in a state in which the same can recognized as an image, and a poor visibility determination output unit which determines that the imaging unit has poor visibility and outputs a poor visibility determination result if the determination unit determines that the specific observation target is present in the aforementioned imaging region but the aforementioned recognition unit cannot recognize the specific observation target as an image.</p> |
