PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for tracking a maximum power point and an operating method of a grid connected power storage system using the same are provided to steadily maintain power by rapidly checking a maximum power point of solar power generation. CONSTITUTION: An MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) converter(210) changes power generated in a solar cell generating system into the power of a DC link voltage level by controlling MPPT. A power generating system(130) includes a solar cell module(131) and a sensing part(132). The solar cell module includes a plurality of solar batteries serially or parallely connected. The sensing part measures the temperature and an amount of the solar radiation of the solar cell module. The MPPT converter comprises a convertor part(211), a maximum power point controlling part(212), and an LUT(Line Unit) part(213). |
