<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile presentation apparatus which is capable of reducing power consumption and surely performing an input operation in parallel with another operation, and a control method of the tactile presentation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A tactile presentation apparatus includes: a touch sensor for detecting a contact with a pressing target; a display section 17; a load detection section 13 for detecting a pressing load to a touch surface of the touch sensor; a tactile presentation section 14 which vibrates the touch surface; and a control section 11 which controls the display section 17 to change an indication on the display section 17 when a pressing load detected by the load detection section 13 meets a first load criterion, and receives a pressing input to the touch surface. When a pressing load detected by the load detection section 13 meets a second load criterion higher than the first load criterion, the control section 11 controls the tactile presentation section 14 to present a tactile for a pressing target pressing the touch surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
