<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for which power consumption is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device includes: a first N type MOSFET for supplying a current to a coil; a second N type MOSFET serially connected with the first N type MOSFET and supplied with the current from the coil; a first driving circuit for outputting first driving signals so as to turn on the first N type MOSFET when the second N type MOSFET is off; a second driving circuit for outputting second driving signals so as to turn on the second N type MOSFET when the first N type MOSFET is off; a P type MOSFET whose drain/source path is connected between the output of the first driving circuit and the gate of the first N type MOSFET; a clamp circuit for clamping both voltages between gates and sources of the first N type MOSFET and the P type MOSFET to a prescribed voltage; and a first resistor connected in parallel to the drain/source of the P type MOSFET. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
