<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise data processor that prints an item, in which the expiration date is approaching, in a receipt. <P>SOLUTION: A merchandise data processor includes input means for inputting the identifier of merchandise, clocking means for measuring the current date, acquisition means for acquiring the expiration date of the item corresponding to the identifier input by the input means from a storage part for storing the expiration date of the item corresponding to the identifier of the item, detection means for detecting whether or not the threshold value is exceeded by comparing the value by the clocking means with the value acquired by the acquisition means, and printing means for performing printing in a receipt so as to express that the expiration date of the item is approaching when the detection means detects that the threshold value is exceeded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
