<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus maintenance system and apparatus maintenance method by which an efficient test schedule can be prepared by considering load to be imparted to an apparatus by a diagnosis itself. <P>SOLUTION: A maintenance system includes: a plurality of measured parts; and a measuring part. The measuring part periodically measures using states of the measured parts and measures test items to be executed for the respective measured parts along a prescribed test schedule at optional timing to obtain the test results. The maintenance system includes: a first storing part for storing the using states and the test results of the measured parts; and a second storing part for storing statistical information. Further, a probability calculating part calculates the latest evaluation value and the past evaluation values based on the using states and calculates a prescribed probability for every test item from the statistical information, the latest evaluation value and the evaluation values in the past tests.
