<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head control device, and a control method of the same, which can variably set a size of each block at division drive, and has superior versatility corresponding to various printing types. <P>SOLUTION: Data for print for one line in a line memory 2 is divided in the data length corresponding to the size of each block in a thermal head 1, and supplied in serial to the same block along with dummy data.
