<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when image data photographed by a camera group are collected and monitored at a monitoring center by using a satellite line, a communication band becomes tighter as the number of cameras is increased. <P>SOLUTION: An image network system includes a plurality of cameras 10 for photographing images, and a monitor 13 for displaying the images photographed by the cameras. The image network system includes a camera server 20 for managing the image data photographed by the cameras, and a transmission control server 30 that relays an image request from the monitor and the image data from the camera server. The camera server calculates a difference image between the photographed image and a previously photographed background image, and transmits the difference image to the transmission control server.
