<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chattering restriction connector capable of, while facilitating insertion by chattering restriction until a tip of a male terminal meets a terminal guiding face of a female housing, subsequently suppressing increase of connector insertion force. <P>SOLUTION: A chattering restriction connector includes: a male housing 10 containing male terminals 10T in a terminal housing chamber 10H; and a female housing 20 containing female terminals 20T in a terminal housing chamber 20H. Chattering upward and downward between the both housings is suppressed by providing chattering restriction grooves 20A in the female housing 20, and by providing chattering restriction ribs 10A, which slide into the chattering restriction grooves 20A, in the male housing 10. Additional projections 20B are provided in the chattering restriction grooves 20A at a level at which they come into contact with the chattering restriction ribs 10A. Relief grooves 10B, which allow the additional projections 20B to slide into them at the stage that the male terminal 10T and the female terminal 20T start coming into contact with each other, are provided on the chattering restriction ribs 10A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
