<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking method and device capable of putting a mark, even on irreguralities of a tire side, without causing marking failure, and thereby capable of quickly inspecting the mark. <P>SOLUTION: The marking device uses an imager to image an area to be marked on a surface of the tire side, and puts a mark on the area when the height of a convex surface with respect to a reference surface in the imaged area to be marked is below a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
