<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can contribute to greater reduction of energy consumption in a driver support device for supporting a driver in driving operations. <P>SOLUTION: In an on-vehicle device 1 of the driver support system 100, a vehicle-side control part 16 acquires a target acceleration in driving an own vehicle (S410) and outputs an operation amount of the acceleration pedal corresponding to the target acceleration (S410-S470). Since the operation amount of the acceleration pedal corresponding to the target acceleration is output in using such on-vehicle device 1, an unnecessary acceleration by the driver can be prevented.
