<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the length in a depth direction of a spinning machine as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A fine spinning machine 1 includes a plurality of spinning units 2, a yarn piecing truck 3, and a first suction duct 17. The plurality of spinning units 2 are arranged in a first direction, and each generates a spun yarn 10 from a fiber bundle 8. The yarn piecing truck 3 can travel in the first direction, and is provided for carrying out yarn piecing work for any one of the plurality of spinning units 2. The first suction duct 17 is at least partially arranged in the first direction and in at least either one of a position higher than a top face 41c and a position lower than a lower face 41d of the yarn piecing truck 3 in a height direction of the spinning units 2.
