<p>[Problem] To provide a multilingual translation display device which can selectively display a plurality of translations in optional languages inside of an image, and which can specify the display colour, display position, size, and variety of the characters of the translation, as desired. [Solution] A translation display device, which listens to the original words of a motion picture and whilst doing so adds and displays a translation of said section in one corner of a screen, and also displays a Japanese translation of the same. At the same time as displaying the original words or dubbed words in a desired first language in one corner of the screen, the multilingual translation display device displays, in a parallel row, a translated second language, and can add and display a desired third and fourth language in the corner of the screen, or in a freely selected position.</p> |
