BOOST CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A boost converter is provided to reduce the internal pressure of a device without using a separate loss snubber by clamping a voltage applied to an output diode with the difference of an output voltage and an input voltage. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(110) includes a first coil and a second coil. The transformer further includes a leakage inductance component and a magnetizing inductance component. A switch part(120) includes one or more switches. The switch part controls power delivered to the second coil from the first coil of the transformer through the switching on and off action. A stabilizing part(130) includes an output diode and an output capacitor to stabilize the power outputted. A clamp part(140) includes a first diode and a first capacitor. The clamp part clamps a voltage applied to the output diode with the difference of an output voltage and an input voltage in a switching on-state of the switch of the switch part.
