摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of electric wires connecting between temperature detection elements and also cut the use of complex elements in a configuration where plural temperature detection devices respectively correspond to plural switching elements, thereby making it possible to reduce the overall circuit size. <P>SOLUTION: Diodes 4, respectively corresponding to six switching elements 2 in each phase, are included. When the respective diodes 4 are turned on to conduct current in the forward direction, they output a voltage signal corresponding to the temperature of each switching element 2, and the diodes 4 which are connected in parallel in the reverse direction suppress noise by action of a reverse direction capacitor. These pairs of diodes 4 have their parallel connection nodes connected to a temperature detection circuit 5, one for U, V, and W phases each, while three diodes 4 (4ud, 4vd, and 4wd) are connected in common to the temperature detection circuit 5 via a single electric wire.
