<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device that improves product quality and safety by properly setting a lock release condition of backup unit that constantly biases paper sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet processing device includes a lock mechanism 5 that restricts a movement of the backup unit 4 from a prescribed position to the feeding mechanism side (X2 direction) by engaging with a part of the backup unit 4, when the backup unit 4 is separated from the feeding mechanism 3 in order to replenish or recover the paper sheets, and releases the restriction of movement of the backup unit 4 upon establishment of a release condition while a release operation S1 to an operation unit 50 is one of the release conditions. The lock mechanism 5 establishes the release condition only when the backup unit 4 is moved to the feeding mechanism side (X1 direction) while maintaining the release operation S1 in a state where a pressing operation for moving the backup unit 4 to the feeding mechanism side (X1 direction) against an energizing force F1 and the release operation S1 to the operation unit 50 are simultaneously conducted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
