<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack in which a cover can be firmly fixed by simple means. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 comprises a unit cell 1, a circuit member 2, an external cover 3, and pins 4 and 5. The unit cell 1 has columnar members 17 and 18 welded to a sealing body 15. The columnar members 17 and 18 have through-holes 171 and 181, respectively. The circuit member 2 includes a protection element 24 and is arranged on the sealing body 15 of the unit cell 1. The external cover 3 has through-holes 31 and 32. The external cover 3 is arranged on the sealing body 15 so as to cover the circuit member 2. Consequently, the through-hole 31 faces the through-hole 171 of the columnar member 17, and the through-hole 32 faces the through-hole 181 of the columnar member 18. The pin 4 is inserted in the through-hole 31 of the external cover 3 and the through-hole 171 of the columnar member 17.
