<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a recording apparatus and the recording apparatus which certainly cure optical curing type ink on a recording medium and which can shorten the time of space scanning. <P>SOLUTION: The control method for the recording apparatus includes the image forming and scanning step S1 of optical curing an uncured image 60 by forming the uncured image 60 by discharging and impacting the optical curing type ink on a work W by driving an inkjet head 51 by relatively moving the inkjet head 51 and an ultraviolet irradiating device 45, to the work W, and the optical curing and scanning step S2 of filling up with an estimated quantity of light by driving the ultraviolet irradiating device 45 by relatively moving the inkjet head 51 and the ultraviolet irradiating device 45 to a quantity of light insufficient region 61 on the work W in which the integrated quantity of light for optical curing is insufficient, as a result of the image forming and scanning step S1, wherein the relative movement in the optical curing and scanning step S2 is conducted at a higher speed than the relative movement in the image forming and scanning step S1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
