PURPOSE: An image display device and an operating method thereof are provided to vary the depth of 3D image APL(Average Pixel Level). CONSTITUTION: A control unit varies the depth of 3D image by a calculated APL(S925). The control unit alternatingly arranges a depth varied 3D image as a right eye image and a left eye image(S930). The control unit varies the gradation of the current frame image by the gradation difference between the current frame image and the previous frame image of the 3D image(S935). The control unit displays the current frame image with a varied gradation on a display(S940). |
