DESULFURIZATION SORBENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A desulfurizing agent and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve abrasion resistance characteristic, heat resistance characteristic, and desulfurizing capability of the desulfurizing agent. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a desulfurizing agent contains desulfurizing active components, a support, and inorganic binder. The support contains alumina and calcium silicate. The inorganic binder contains one or more of bentonite, boehmite, or palygorskite. The active components are one or more selected form zinc sulfite, zinc sulfate, zinc hydroxide, zinc carbonate, zinc acetate, and zinc nitrate. The support contains 5-30 parts by weight of alumina and 1-30 parts by weight of calcium silicate. The inorganic binder contains 1-10 parts by weight of bentonite, 2-20 weight% of boehmite, or 1-10 parts by weight of palygorskite.
