TRANSLATION CONSTRUCTION AND ACTIVE SPECIES SEARCH METHOD OF SPECIAL PEPTIDE COMPOUND LIBRARY CONTAINING N-METHYL AMINO ACID AND OTHER SPECIAL AMINO ACIDS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a special peptide library using a cell-free (in vitro) translation system and to establish a technology for screening special peptide to be coupled to target protein.

SOLUTION: In a method for screening the special peptide compound to be coupled to a target substance from a peptide library, (i) the special peptide library in which the special amino acid is introduced to a peptide sequence at random is prepared by the cell-free translation system containing tRNA made into acyl by the special amino acid, (ii) the obtained special peptide library is brought into contact with the target substance; and (iii) the special peptide to be coupled to the target substance is selected as active peptide.
