<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of mileage without enlarging a sense of incongruity given to a driver when increasing rotation speed of an output shaft of an engine in order to prevent gear noise. <P>SOLUTION: If torque of a motor generator as a driving source falls off, engine rotation speed increases to the rotation speed defined by a second operation line from the rotation speed defined by a first operation line.
