<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video display system capable of restricting video from being viewed with an excessive parallax amount exceeding a fusion limit without interfering stereoscopic vision by another viewer. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic video display system comprises a stereoscopic video display device 110 and stereoscopic video appreciation glasses 120. The stereoscopic video display device 110 comprises a synchronization signal transmission unit 113 for transmitting a synchronization signal synchronized with timing of alternately displaying left-eye video and right-eye video, and the stereoscopic video appreciation glasses 120 comprise a shutter drive control unit 124 for controlling opening/closing drive of each of a left-eye shutter 125L and a right-eye shutter 125R with the synchronization signal transmitted from the synchronization signal transmission unit 113 and a signal intensity determination unit 123 for determining the signal intensity of the synchronization signal. The shutter drive control unit 124 switches a first opening/closing pattern for displaying stereoscopic video and a second opening/closing pattern for displaying plane video according to the signal intensity determined by the signal intensity determination unit 123. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
