<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system and device allowing a registered user to be correctly authenticated even when musical sounds corresponding to the user are reproduced and outputted in a state that parameters are changed. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication device, when musical sounds reproduced and outputted from a terminal device contain additional sounds ("YES" in s530), matches parameters between specified musical sounds and target musical sounds based on the additional sounds (s560 to s570), before authentication for the musical sounds reproduced and outputted by using the specified musical sounds, and then compares the specified musical sounds with target musical sounds, and thereby authenticates a user corresponding to the specified musical sounds (s580). In this manner, the specified musical sounds are compared with the target musical sounds after the parameters are matched, thereby allowing the user corresponding to the specified musical sounds to be correctly authenticated even when the parameters of the specified musical sounds are changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
