<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder switching apparatus capable of switching a cylinder simply and smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: If a second gas cylinder 3 becomes empty when carbon dioxide gas is supplied through a pathway from a second gas cylinder 3 through a second switching valve 20, a second check valve 18, a valve 17, and a regulator 26, the gas cylinder is automatically switched so that a first check valve 16 is opened, a second check valve 18 is closed and carbon dioxide gas is supplied though a pathway from the first gas cylinder 2 through a hose 12, a tee 13, a first switching valve 10, the first check valve 16, the valve 17, and the regulator 26. At this stage, the second gas cylinder 3 is replaced, further, first and second switching levers 11, 19 of the first and second switching valve 10, 20 are turned from a position "a" to a position "b" to switch a route through which the carbon dioxide gas passes, allowing carbon dioxide gas from the first gas cylinder to pass through the second check valve 18 in preparation for automatic replacement of the next gas cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
