<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for renewal work from a hydraulic elevator to a rope-type elevator. <P>SOLUTION: A counterweight of the rope-type elevator and a counterweight guide rail for guiding lifting of the counterweight are first erected vertically in a hoistway of the hydraulic elevator. After setting the uppermost floor of the hydraulic elevator to a non-stop, a control panel of the rope-type elevator is fixed to the upper part of an existing hydraulic jack guide rail vertically erected in the hoistway. A machine bed is installed at the upper part of the counterweight guide rail or an empty area in the upper part of the hoistway, and a hoisting machine of the rope type elevator is installed on the machine bed. After stopping all the operation of the hydraulic elevator, a main rope of the rope-type elevator is wound on the hoisting machine. One end of the main rope is connected to the counterweight while connecting the other end to an elevator car, and wiring and connection work of the control panel are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
