The invention relates to a double-cone vascular occlusion device (1) characterised in that it consists of a bent wire forming a spiral (3) which, in turn, forms a double-cone spiral with the vertices of the cones joined and a central ring (7) (figure 1). The invention also relates to a method for producing said device, comprising the steps of: bending a wire in order to form a spiral (3); b) bending the spiral (3) together with a copper wire (10) in order to create a double-cone spiral (4); heating to 650°C; and d) cooling to -168°C with liquid nitrogen.
