A lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly having a centre pin at the centre thereof, a can containing the electrode assembly and a cap assembly coupled to the can, wherein an end portion of the centre pin is configured such that if the centre pin collides with an inner surface of the can or the cap assembly, the end portion will deform to buffer the impact power, and prevent the centre pin from penetrating the can or cap assembly. |
