PURPOSE: A secondary battery with an insulation member of lower part is provided to prevent the fracture of an electrode assembly deformed by external shock and the rise of internal pressure, thereby offering space capable of deforming of the electrode assembly. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(101) comprises: an electrode assembly(10); a case(26) in which an opening is formed on one side and the electrode assembly is mounted; a cap plate(31) closing the case by being connected to the electrode assembly; one or more electrode terminals electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and projected to the outside of the case; and a lower insulating members(60,70) between the electrode assembly and the electrode terminals, and installed to adhering the cap plate. The edge counting to the electrode assembly of the lower insulating members includes a sloped side. |
