PURPOSE: An auxiliary supporter for a wheelchair capable easily installing on the wheelchair is provided to offer the seating comfort fitting to the body figure of a user. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary supporter for a wheelchair includes a safety backboard(4), and a safety seating plate(6). The safety backboard is formed with a headrest(14), a pair of lumbar vertebra supporting boards(10), and a middle supporter(12) attached in between the lumbar vertebra supporting boards. The safety seating plate is formed by attaching a thigh supporting board to a seat cover.
