<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate capable of achieving high use efficiency of light, radiating light with less luminance unevenness and obtaining distribution where the center part of a screen is lighter than the peripheral parts. <P>SOLUTION: In the light guide plate, scattering particles are polydispersed particles in which particles with different diameters are mixed. The light guide plate has more than two layers with different particle concentrations of the scattered particles laminated in a direction almost vertical to a light emission surface, a first layer on the light emission surface side having a particle concentration of Npo and a second layer on the back side with respect to the first layer having a particle concentration of Npr, the condition of Npo<Npr being satisfied. The cross-sectional shape of the plate in the direction vertical to a light incident surface is concave on the light emission surface side. A Combined particle concentration of each part of the light guide plate can be changed by changing thicknesses of the first layer and the second layer in the direction almost vertical to the light emission surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
