<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimutagenic agent having the antimutagenic activity and also safe on using it for a long period of time, since not so large an amount of antimutagenic agent is contained in cosmetics or foods, it is necessary to use or take it daily and continuously in order to get a sufficient effect. <P>SOLUTION: This antimutagenic agent is characterized by including 1 kind or ≥2 kinds of plant extracts selected from those of Canna generalis and Arenaria kansuensis. The antimutagenic agent has an excellent mutagenesis-inhibiting activity, and since it is possible to obtain an activity inhibiting or inactivating the mutagenicity of chemical substances especially harmful for humans, the effects of inhibiting cancer induced by these substances and keeping health are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
