<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clearance cover device which shields a displacement allowance clearance formed between the underside of a covering part projecting from one building toward the other building side to cover a joint, via which the both buildings are adjacent to each other, and the top face of the other building and allowing the relative displacement of the both buildings along the longitudinal direction of the joint; which is capable of preventing the clearance cover device from being damaged due to its tip being fitted into a draining groove formed in the underside of the covering part; and of which manufacturing cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: An strip-shaped elastic metal plate 10, which is long in the longitudinal direction of a joint s and is provided, at its tip, with an easily slidable bent edge 15 bendingly formed by an obtuse angle via a bent portion 14, is raised, with a base end of the strip-shaped elastic metal plate 10 being fixed on a front wall 8 of the other building 1B facing the joint s, and is disposed in a bent state such that the bent portion 14 of the easily slidable bent edge 15 formed at the tip comes in contact with an underside of a covering part 5 through resilience. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
