<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of generating a blurred image while suppressing memory consumption in a short period. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with image generation means and composition means. The image generation means generates a plurality of blurred source images to which blurring processing is applied using different blurring intensities, from a first reduced image obtained by reducing a first image of a subject taken by focusing at a first focal position. When composing a blurred image obtained by applying blurring processing to a first pixel being a pixel included in the first image, the composite means determines a pixel value after applying the blurring processing to the first pixel by use of a second pixel being a pixel of the blurring source image corresponding to the position of the first pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
