<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device that notifies of guidance information corresponding to the distance to a guidance point and the moving speed of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device includes: a map information storage unit 2 which stores map information; an information acquisition unit 1 which acquires position information and speed information on the vehicle; a position information generation unit 41 which calculates the current position of the vehicle by reference to the map information and position information; a route information generation unit 44 which searches for a route from the current position of the vehicle to a destination by reference to the map information, and generates information representing the route and a guidance point included in the route; a distance information generation unit 44 which calculates the distance from the current position of the vehicle to the guidance point by reference to the information representing the guidance point; a guidance information generation unit 46 which generates guidance information at each of timings corresponding to the speed information on the vehicle and the distance up to the guidance point during a travel from the current position of the vehicle to the guidance point; and a guidance information output unit 5 which outputs the guidance information at each of the timings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
