<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a pseudoscopic phenomenon is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel PNL comprising a first substrate 12, a second substrate 14 arranged to face the first substrate 12, a liquid crystal layer LQ sandwiched between the first substrate 12 and the second substrate 14, and a display section DYP having display pixels PX arranged in a matrix; an illumination unit BL for illuminating the display section DYP; and a lenticular lens LEN having a plurality of convex lenses 20 arranged along the row of display pixels PX arranged in a matrix.
