<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a heat spreader capable of accurately performing heater element positioning and forming an adhesive surface with good adhesion for a resin sheet at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a heat spreader 100 which uses one side of a conductive metal plate 10 as a placing surface A on which a heater element is placed and the other side as an adhesive surface B which is adhered and fixed to a base via the resin sheet comprises: a masking step of forming a mask 30 covering an element placing region 20 on the element placing region 20 on which the heater element of the placing surface A is placed; an etching step of etching a region not covered by the mask 30 in at least the placing surface A and the adhesive surface B only by a prescribed thickness; and a mask removal step of removing the mask 30 after the etching step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
