<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a workbench at low cost by merely subjecting an elevator car structure to simple modification. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator car includes a boxlike elevator car body, a trunk, a trunk door, a footplate fixing mechanism, and a footplate. The trunk is arranged adjacently to the back of the elevator car body. The trunk door is so provided at an opening section of the trunk as to be able to open toward the inside of the elevator car body and to form a part of the back of the elevator car body while it is closed. The footplate fixing mechanism is formed to be stepwise inside of the trunk door. While the trunk door is open, both ends of the footplate are fixed at the footplate fixing mechanism to form the workbench. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
