<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector with a floating mechanism excellent in operability at the time of attachment which can absorb error and deformation caused by expansion or contraction of a substrate due to attachment errors and temperature changes and which can maintain enough power for holding a card substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A card edge connector has a card substrate B and a printed substrate A movable in relation to each other while a substrate housing part holds the card substrate B and electrically connects the printed substrate and the card substrate with a contact 2 in-between. The substrate housing part has a substrate introduction part opened on the top face of a housing member 4 which can introduce the card substrate B inside the substrate housing part from the top face side. The housing member 4 comprises a lock member 35 which protrudes from the inner side face of the substrate housing part to regulate the movement of the card substrate B in an obverse and reverse direction and a pulling-out regulation part 33 which regulates the movement of the card substrate B in a front and back direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
