摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely completely burn waste through drying (low temperature)&rarr;decomposition (middle temperature)&rarr;combustion (high temperature), without discharging toxic substances such as dioxin. <P>SOLUTION: A first combustion furnace 1 provided with a feed port 11 and a second combustion furnace 41 are connected by a first flue 70 in the lateral direction and the second combustion furnace 41 and an exhaust gas cleaning tank 55 are connected by a second flue 80, thereby combustion device 90 is formed. On the sidewall of the first combustion furnace 1, many nozzles 24 are arranged in the lateral direction to form a nozzle group 25 consisting of nozzle sub-groups 25a, 25b and 25c in three vertical stages, and the distal end of each of the many nozzles 24 is turned to the inside of the furnace as a high pressure air discharge port. A flame port 15 of a burner is disposed near an opening 13 toward the first flue 70 at the upper end part of the first combustion furnace 1.
